خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبد العزيز -حفظه الله- رجل حباه الله تعالى بالعديد من المزايا والصفات، ولعل أهمها المعين الذي شرب منه في صغره بمرافقته للملك عبد العزيز -رحمه الله- ومن ثم أبنائه، إلى جانب حبه وولعه بالقراءة ومعرفته وفطنته بقبائل الجزيرة العربية، ومن خلال نصف قرن كان فيها مهندساً لما شهدته عاصمة بلادنا الغالية من تطور فاق التوقعات حتى أصبحت الرياض محطة لسائر بلدان الدنيا، وشهد بهذا التطور والنماء البعيد قبل القريب. إلى جانب التواضع والقرب من الشعب، فهو تراه يوماً في زيارة لمدينة أو قرية وأخرى يجتمع مع كل فئات الشعب دون تميز، وهو مستمع جيد لكل دعوى أو شكوى تقدم إليه، وصاحب قرار حاسم خصوصاً عندما يكون الأمر شرعياً أو في أمن البلاد وحقوق الغير، كما أنه لا يغفل أي إنسان يخاطبه. أذكر أنني أحتفظ بما يزيد عن خمس رسائل كلها ردود منه -حفظه الله- بأسلوبة الذي قل أن يوجد إلا لمثل سلمان. محافظ أشد المحافظة على تصرفات أبناء آل سعود، وكم سمعنا أنه قد يعاقب من يخالف أشد العقاب. هو بدرجة الأب والناصح والمؤدب، ولأن هذا الشعب محب لسلمان ولأن سلمان يبادلهم المحبة بأكثر، لذا نرى أن ما قام به من تنظيمات في أمور الدولة والحفاظ على أمنها وسلامتها وعمل هيكلة جديدة للوزارات والمصالح الحكومية والشركات لم تخرج إلا من رجل حكيم في قوله حكيم في فعله. وها هي إنجازاته تظهر وتتحقق ويشهد بها القاصي والداني في أقل من مائة يوم، وها هو الشعب السعودي يرحب بهذه القرارات النافعة لمصلحة البلاد. بل إن سلمان بفضل الله ثم بفضل هذه السياسة الحكيمة التي أوجدت الاعتزاز والفخر وجعلت من المواطنة شيئاً متميزاً وشيئاً لا يمكن ولا يقبل لأحد أن يعترض له أو يسيء إليه وأصبح كل فرد في هذه البلاد يرى عليه واجب وطني في تعزيز والحفاظ على هذه اللحمة الوطنية والجسد الواحد، أصبح سلمان رمزاً لهذا الوطن ومن خلاله حتى جوانب الحديث في النوادي والمجالس العامة والأسرية هو الكلمة الواحدة والوطن الواحد ونبذ وإبعاد الخلاف. الملك سلمان -أدام الله عزه- هو ذاك الرجل الذي يستحق أن نذكره ونشكره وندعو الله سبحانه وتعالى أن يعينه وأن يجعل التوفيق حليفه ويلبسه ثوب الصحة والعافية. فعلاً الدعوة التي نرجو الله الكريم رب العرش العظيم أن يجزيه خير الجزاء على ما قام به لصالح البلاد والعباد. وأن يجعل كل ما أمر به من إصلاحات لهذا الوطن الغالي إلى النجاح والنهضة ورفاهية المواطن في بلاد أنعم الله سبحانه وتعالى عليها بنعمة الأمن التي افتقدها الكثير. حفظ الله مليكنا الغالي وولاة أمرنا وأدام الله هذه النعم وأبعد عنا كل شر إنه ولي ذلك والقادر عليه. وصلى الله على نبينا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم.
