كتاب الشيخ البابطين مصدر فقهي وتاريخي

أشاد بذكره كثير من المؤرّخين القدماء أمثال ابن منقور وابن لعبون والفاخري وابن بشر وابن عيسى ذلك هو الإمام القاضي الشيخ عبدالرحمن بن عبدالله بن سلطان أبابطين العائذي المولود في روضة سدير في حدود 1050هـ ووفاته – رحمه الله- في حدود سنة 1121هـ.
نشأ في بيت علم وفقه وقد حرص والده الشيخ عبدالله بن سلطان أبابطين العائذي على تربيته وتعليمه، وقد أدرك في زمانه العديد من العلماء وقد تدارس معهم العلم ومنهم الشيخ محمد بن إسماعيل الأشيقري والشيخ عبدالله بن ذهلان والشيخ محمد بن عبدالله الدوسري والشيخ عبدالرحمن بن إسماعيل والشيخ أحمد المنقور.
وقد يكون رحل لطلب العلم في بلدان هؤلاء العلماء مثل الرياض والعيينة وشقراء والمجمعة. وقد ألّف كتاباً في الفقه سمّاه المجموع فيما هو كثير الوقوع وانتهى من تأليفه سنة 1113هـ.
ومعظم أبواب هذا الكتاب في أمور فقهية متعدّدة كان هدفه – رحمه الله- توضيح العلوم الشرعية وتبسيطها للناس، وقد أعيد كتابة هذا الكتاب كما يتضح من المخطوطتين بخط الشيخ أحمد بن محمد بن عبيد سنة 1284هـ وكذلك نسخة منه لدى الشيخ عبدالعزيز بن ناصر بن بشر سنة 1283هـ.
وسبق وطلبنا الإذن من سماحة مفتي عام المملكة العربية السعودية ورئيس هيئة كبار العلماء وإدارة البحوث العلمية والإفتاء سماحة الشيخ عبدالعزيز بن باز – رحمه الله- من أجل تحقيق هذا الكتاب القيّم من أهل الاختصاص .
واتضح أن جامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية قد تبنت بواسطة سبعة مشايخ من طلاب الجامعة إعداد سبع رسائل لنيل شهادة الماجستير حسب التالي: 1- الشيخ خالد بن بشير محمد معافا من أول (باب المشي إلى الصلاة) إلى آخر (كتاب الجنائز). 2- الشيخ علي بن محمد بن علي السعوي من بداية (كتاب الطهارة) حتى نهاية (باب المشي إلى الصلاة). 3- الشيخ أحمد بن محمد بن أحمد اليحيى من أول (كتاب الزكاة) إلى نهاية فصل (ثم يخرج للسعي من باب الصفا) من كتاب الحج. 4- الشيخ عبدالعزيز بن أحمد السمحان من أول باب (العارية) إلى نهاية كتاب (الخلع). 5- الشيخ عبدالعزيز بن عبدالله بن حمد العتيق من أول (باب الربا) إلى نهاية (باب السبق والمناضلة). 6- الشيخ عبدالله بن محمد بن إبراهيم العليان من أول كتاب النكاح إلى آخر الكتاب. 7- الشيخ سعد بن إبراهيم بن سعد الحميد من أول باب (صفة الحج) إلى باب (الخيار في البيع والتصرّف في المبيع وقبضه والإقالة).
مثل هذا الشيخ الجليل وما قام به من تأليف هذا الكتاب يعطي دلالة واضحة على النهج السليم والعقيدة الصحيحة الخالية من البدع والخرافات لدى هؤلاء العلماء الكبار ويحكي واقع أربعمائة سنة مضت من تاريخ هذه البلاد وهذه المنطقة التي عاش بها شيخنا الجليل ولأجل سلامة العقيدة وانتشار العلم الشرعي الصحيح، وما قام به هؤلاء المشايخ – جزاهم الله كل خير- من إعادة دراسة أبواب هذا الكتاب وإعداد هذه الرسائل المهمة يعطي دلالة أخرى على استمرارية النفع بعلم علماء هذه البلاد سابقاً ولاحقاً .
