تلقيت دعوة كريمة من المؤسسة العامة لتحلية المياه المالحة من أجل تكريم مديرها السابق بالمنطقة الشرقية المهندس عبدالحميد بن محمد بن عبدالرحمن المنصور الزامل، ولا أخفي سراً أنني سررت بالدعوة مع وجود نوع من عدم السرور لترك هذا الشاب المخلص الوفي مثل هذا المنصب الهام. لقد قاد المهندس عبدالحميد هذه الإدارة طيلة ما يزيد على عشرين عاماً أثبت خلالها أنه نعم المسؤول المثابر والمخلص لدينه ومليكه ووطنه. لقد أحب عمله وبذل الجهد للارتقاء بهذه المؤسسة سواء من الناحية التنظيمية أو من ناحية التدريب في مواقع العمل وخارج العمل حتى استطاع أن يدرب ويؤهل شباباً تسابقت على استحواذهم الكثير من الشركات والقطاعات الحكومية والأهلية لأنه ذو أخلاق عالية كريمة يقدر الجميع ويعتز بهم فأحبه جميع الموظفين وساروا على منهجه في العطاء والإخلاص نحن – وبالذات في القطاعات الحكومية – أحوج ما نكون لمثل هذا النوع من الشباب المتحمس لعمله والذي منحه الله القدرة على حسن الإدارة والإبداع في الإنتاج فهنيئاً لنا بمثل أبو طلال وهنيئاً للجهة التي استطاعت أن تضم مثله فهو مكسب أينما حل. علماً أن ما ذكرته هو بلسان كل موظف في التحلية وبلسان كل من يعرف المهندس عبدالحميد.. متمنياً للقائمين بعمل المزيد من النجاح والتوفيق.
