شارع أبو بكر الصديق، شارع عمر بن الخطاب، شارع عثمان بن عفان، شارع علي بن أبي طالب. لا أعلم هل هذه التسميات (الجافة) (الحافة) بدون إضافة كلمة محببة تسبقها أو تتبعها وتليق بصحابة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وبأهل بيته.. هل المقصود منها عدم التباهي بالألقاب والأسماء أم المقصود الاختصار في الاسم ليسهل معرفة الشارع أم أنها وردت هكذا، بحكم أن معد الدراسة استشاري له معايير معينة في طريقة وضع الاسم وإيصال المعلومة وتولدت قناعات لدى المهندسين في البلديات وأصبحت واقعاً لابد من قبوله. ولكن يبقى أن مثل هذه الأمور لا تخضع لهذا ولا لهذا بل إن هذا المجتمع الذي تربى على اختيار الألقاب والأسماء المحببة يستوجب أن يحترم رأيه، فهل يعقل في أي مجلس أو حديث أن تطلق الاسم لهذا الصحابي الجليل بدون كلمة رضي الله عنه أو خليفة رسول الله أو أمير المؤمنين ولو بشكل مصغر يعطي دلالة على أهمية هذا الصحابي واحترامنا له وحتى من هو ليس بمسلم يشعر بأن هذه الأمة تقدر وتحترم صحابة نبيها عليه الصلاة والسلام، إضافة إلى غرس محبة صحابة نبينا لدى أبنائنا واقتران كلمة رضي الله عنه في حديثهم ومجالسهم ويجب أن يفهم أنه ليس في ذلك تعظيم أو مباهاة بل هو حق لهم قرره الله سبحانه وتعالى عندما قال وهو أصدق القائلين: (لقد رضي الله عن المؤمنين إذ يبايعونك تـحت الشجرة) فإذا كان الله سبحانه وتعالى رضي عنهم وسجله في كتابه الكريم وقرر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أن هؤلاء صحابته لا يستطيع أحدكم أن يبلغ من أحدهم أو نصيفه رضي الله عنهم وأرضاهم، وإن كانت البلديات مشكورة قامت بإطلاق أسمائهم وأسماء الصحابة والتابعين ورجالات الإسلام والمسلمين من أبناء وغير أبناء هذه الامة. فلها الشكر موصولاً أن تزيل هذه اللوحات والتي أكل بعضها الصدأ وزالت حروفها وأن تضيف كلمة رضي الله عنه ولو بخط صغير، وهذا أبسط ما نقدمه لهؤلاء الذين حفظوا لنا ديننا وكانوا خير أمة اخرجت للناس وأنا متأكد لمعرفتي الشخصية للأمير الجليل متعب بن عبدالعزيز بأنه السباق دائماً لكل خير في قوله وعمله. والله الموفق.
